The Badger Sheet Metal Works’ paint department maintains and operates two complete paint shops, one in each the metal division and marine division. Each lab specializes in applying wet paint and electrostatic paint techniques – either in a primer or finished stage.

The company employs two well experienced paint technicians that specialize in all aspects of preparation and painting applications, including layout and masking, priming, wet painting, electrostatic painting and various types of urethane and enamel painting.

Badger Sheet Metal Works does all its painting in house – including having a body shop for preparation of marine arches, hardtops and more. Moreover, Badger Sheet Metal Works has excellent relationships with sub-contractors for powder coating, anodizing, black oxide and other coating and finishing needs to fit any of its customer’s needs.

Paint and coating characteristics are routinely checked in both labs for thickness, adhesion, hardness emissivity and absorptivity to ensure requirements compliance.
