Wisconsin manufacturer implements safeguards to minimize COVID-19 risk
Badger Sheet Metal Works, a Green Bay, Wisconsin-based custom and OEM metal fabrication specialist, confirmed today it has been approved to remain fully operational as an essential business as defined in Governor Tony Evers’ “Safer at Home” order.
The company’s products are used in a wide range of other essential industries including defense, oil and gas, transportation, utilities, food processors, power generation services, mining, and others. Badger Sheet Metal Works is collaborating with its supply chain partners to ensure manufacturing operations can continue to operate at 100 percent.
“We have not experienced disruptions to our supply chain during the COVID-19 emergency, and we continue to work closely with our suppliers to ensure we have the materials needed to meet our customers’ needs,” states Kenny Coe, sales manager at Badger Sheet Metal Works. “We are fortunate to be able to support our customers during this difficult time.”
Updated protocols impact meetings and deliveries
Badger Sheet Metal Works is emphasizing CDC guidelines for its workforce and outside partners in minimizing the risk of infection. This includes eliminating all non-essential travel and no outside sales calls from suppliers, other than pre-scheduled visits essential for operations.
“We are confident the steps we have outlined with our supply chain partners will help protect the health and safety of our respective companies and team members,” said Tracy Petitjean, procurement manager at Badger Sheet Metal Works.
Badger Sheet Metal Works leadership will continue to monitor this fluid situation and make appropriate adjustments as circumstances dictate.
